Santosh Bodakhe

Current Project : BIRAC sponsored project on cholesterol diagnostic (1.6 Cr) and ICMR sponsored project on Micro nutrient malnutrition screening (60 Lakhs).

Background : I did my master of pharmacy in pharmaceutics from NIPER Mohali. I completed my graduation in pharmacy in pune university. I have completed my diploma in clinical research from elite institute of Pune.

Currently at Nanobios lab he is working on various affordable diagnostic product. He and his team have made an indigenous assay for detection of Iodine deficiency in urine and a point of care device for the same. They have developed an non invasive assay for glucose tolerance. The projects have been funded by BIRAC for making point of care test for cholesterol and its panel. They have proposed making lukewarm water soluble plastic from cassava which has been supported by Imprint 2.

Research Interest :  Affordable diagnostic; Luke warm water soluble plastic bags; New hemolysis model

Previous Experience : I have worked for Baxter pharmaceutical Australia for the period of three years.
